Ydreams does Hong Kong

Los chicos de YDreams, a los que vimos en el panel de Pixelcity en artFutura, han lanzado Undercover en el bello Hong Kong. En el juego, un multiplayer de proporciones disparatadas, en el que los protagonistas -tú, yo, él- son agentes de nada menos que la TIA, antes Total Information Awareness, hoy Terrorism Information Awareness (Darpa) envueltos en una salvaje y tecnológica lucha contra el terrorismo. Puritito Juego de Ender, diría yo. Extraño y diabólico.

El juego ha estado funcionando a escala nacional en Portugal desde julio del pasado año a través de Vodafone. Se juega a través de SMS o, también, usando un JAva GUI desde cualquier Nokia serie 60, N-Gage o Sharp GX-10.

Taking on the role of a secret agent working for T.I.A - an international coalition of intelligence services - the player completes special missions, collaborates with fellow agents and fights enemy forces in order to survive in a devastated world of biological wars and terrorism. Using combat and defense equipment, players fight for peace while recovering stolen Russian files containing data on the DNA of lethal bacteriae. Main gameplay features:

* Massively multiplayer, online action-strategy using real-world locations
* Cooperate with other agents and use physical location strategically to locate and eliminate terrorists
* Scan for terrorists, guns, shields, documents and agents
* Use advanced recon software and a wealth of weapons and defense shields
* Request special missions that have to be accomplished at specific places and at a certain time
* Hide in real-world shelters from where you can operate without being seen
